Car Battery Health Score
Your battery's age, climate and driving, turned into one score you can share. Find out which band you land in.
Last updated October 2026. By the editorial team.
The score is the share of the roughly three to five years AAA gives as normal battery life that your battery has left. A new battery scores 100. One past its expected age scores 0. A failed test also scores 0. It is an estimate from age and conditions, not a test, so confirm with the voltage checker or a shop load test. Read how we calculate.
